Lead Electrical Engineer

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience designing industrial electrical systems within a consulting engineering firm or design-build electrical contractor environment.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA standards.
• Proficiency with Revit, SKM Power Tools, and lighting analysis software.
• Experience supporting equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning activities.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
  

Preferred:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in several of the following areas:
• • Power distribution systems
  • AC drives and motor controls
  • Lighting and lighting control systems
  • Gas detection systems
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Lightning protection systems
• Knowledge of medium-voltage systems, power regeneration technologies, and energy reduction initiatives.
• Previous commissioning and field start-up experience.
