Machine Operator/Round Sling

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Round Sling Machine Operator to join our production team in Hurst,TX. This position operates specialized manufacturing equipment used to produce round lifting slings by feeding polyester yarn into a cylindrical outer jacket through a conveyor-style machine process.

No previous machine operation experience is required. Comprehensive one-on-one training will be provided to teach the operation of the equipment, production procedures, and quality requirements.

This position is performed in a fast-paced, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate round sling manufacturing equipment according to established procedures.
• Feed polyester yarn into the machine to produce round slings.
• Monitor the machine and production process to ensure proper operation.
• Read and follow work orders and production instructions.
• Measure materials and finished products accurately.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations as required for production.
• Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet established specifications.
• Identify and communicate production or quality issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all applicable safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow production team members.
• Work cooperatively with other employees to meet daily production requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
• Must be able to read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Good attention to detail is important.
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be willing and able to learn new equipment and production processes.
• One-on-one on-the-job training will be provided.
• Must have reliable transportation and dependable daily attendance.
• Must be able to arrive at work on time and consistently maintain the required schedule.
• Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a production team.
