SQL Server / SSRS Reports Developer – Public Safety – $65-75/hr W2 – Phoenix Hybrid – 2-Year Contract

SunSoftOnline is hiring a SQL Server Reporting Specialist (SSRS) for a major Phoenix public safety agency's records management environment, a long-term contract running through mid-2028.

Hard requirements, read before applying:

  • Currently living in the Phoenix metro area (Avondale, Glendale, Mesa, Tempe, etc. all count), city on your resume; no relocation candidates
  • Authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future, W2 only, no C2C
  • Advanced Microsoft SQL Server: T-SQL, permissions administration, query optimization
  • Strong SSRS: report design, deployment, and management

The work:

administering SQL Server permissions for SSRS folder and report access; developing and optimizing queries, stored procedures, and database objects; building, testing, and deploying SSRS reports for multiple bureaus; gathering reporting requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders; troubleshooting query, dataset, and data-integrity issues; and documenting changes, workflows, and permissions, all within strict security and data-governance standards (CJIS environment; background clearance required).
Preferred: Premier One RMS experience, and large-dataset work in public safety or enterprise settings.

The facts: $65-75/hr W2 depending on experience

· Monday-Friday days · hybrid: 75% onsite in downtown Phoenix, 25% remote discussed after onboarding
· long-term contract through June 2028, starting ~August 31
