Location: Greensboro, NC

Schedule: On-site | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with rotating Saturday coverage

Compensation: $52,500-$57,000 annually

We're looking for a highly organized, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Greensboro team.

This isn't a traditional administrative position. It's a fast-paced, operations-focused role that sits at the center of the shop and serves as the connection between customers, technicians, parts, and leadership.

What You'll Do

As a Service Advisor, you'll be responsible for managing the flow of work through the shop while ensuring customers receive timely communication and technicians have the information and resources they need to be successful.

Your responsibilities will include:

Service Coordination & Workflow Management
  • Coordinate incoming service requests and schedule repair work

  • Create, update, and maintain service orders

  • Track jobs from intake through completion

  • Maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance purposes

  • Conduct and document 25-point inspections on all incoming vehicles

  • Monitor repair progress and provide real-time updates

Customer Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to emails professionally

  • Provide customers with updates regarding repair status, estimates, and scheduling

  • Address questions, concerns, and service-related issues promptly

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience through proactive communication

Technician Coordination
  • Manage the daily game plan and technician schedules to maximize productivity

  • Prioritize and assign work based on workload and service needs

  • Adjust schedules and resources to accommodate urgent repairs

  • Communicate with technicians to ensure they have the information, parts, and documentation necessary to complete repairs efficiently

Estimates & Profitability
  • Prepare accurate repair estimates and job quotes

  • Document quotes within the service management system to expedite approvals

  • Support technicians throughout the quoting process

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall shop performance

  • Contribute to the growth and profitability of the Greensboro location

Parts & Administrative Support
  • Partner with the Parts Coordinator to ensure parts are ordered and available when needed

  • Maintain organized service records and documentation

  • Support inventory, documentation, and administrative processes that keep the shop operating efficiently


What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Dispatcher, Customer Service Representative, or in a similar role preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Strong typing and data-entry skills

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Experience preparing estimates and repair quotes is preferred

  • Comfort using service management software, Microsoft Office, AI tools, and other technology platforms

  • Availability to participate in a rotating Saturday schedule

This position is similar to an automotive dealership Service Advisor role but focuses exclusively on supporting diesel technicians in our Greensboro repair facility.
