SUMMARY

The Mobile Crisis Responder will deliver in-person specialized stabilization and intervention services to adults and children experiencing a mental health substance abuse and or developmental disability crisis in their community. The Mobile Crisis Responder coordinates assistance, resources and support services through the HSI team and other professionals in the outpatient network to maximize appropriate response, planning and service connections.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
  • Basic computer skills, good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Available to work variable shifts and weekends.
  • Individuals with a successful personal life experience that includes a past mental health and/or addiction disorder, treatment with a stable and sustained recovery history are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIILITIES

  • Respond to a community location and provide short term crisis intervention and assessment for a person’s safety and general needs.
  • Provide appropriate service linkages for the person in need.
  • Ensure that community services and integrated care are provided in a timely manner.
  • Completes accurate reports and documentation regarding crisis interactions.
  • Provides auxiliary support services at the crisis center.
