Pay Range: $16 - $20 per hour

Shifts Available: Thursday-Saturday 8:30p-8:30a, Friday-Sunday 8:30a-8:30p

We are hiring a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver with experience working with clients suffering from end-stage dementia, particularly those exhibiting intermittent behavioral challenges. This role is crucial in providing specialized care and support to enhance the quality of life for our clients in the comfort of their homes.

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for clients. Your experience in managing the complexities associated with dementia care will be vital in offering the support needed by both clients and their families.


Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Monitor and manage behavioral changes with appropriate interventions.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and needs.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in caregiving, specifically with dementia patients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience and adaptability in handling challenging behaviors.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in caregiving or a related field required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
