Job Description
Holland Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse – ICU to join its team in Holland, Michigan. This position is responsible for providing patient-centered care to high-acuity patients while coordinating treatment, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will have recent ICU/critical care experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to provide care across multiple inpatient units as part of a dedicated float team.
Responsibilities:Provide patient-centered care – Assess, monitor, and coordinate care for patients with high-acuity conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, and heart failure.
Float across multiple units – Provide nursing care in ICU/Telemetry, Spine Orthopedics, and Med-Surg based on hospital needs.
Coordinate care – Develop and implement individualized care plans while collaborating with physicians, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient progress – Recognize changes in patient condition, respond to emergency situations, and evaluate patient outcomes.
Patient education – Educate patients and families regarding treatment, care plans, and ongoing healthcare needs.
Maintain nursing standards – Practice according to hospital policies, professional nursing standards, and Michigan nursing regulations.
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Current Michigan RN license or ability to complete licensing by the end of orientation
Current BLS certification
Cerner experience required
Recent ICU/critical care experience
ACLS certification for ICU/Telemetry
Two years of experience in the desired specialty is preferred
Specialty certification such as CCRN is preferred
Previous hospital experience preferred
12-hour night shifts
Friday, Saturday & Sunday
36 guaranteed hours per week
ASAP start
Float assignment is communicated approximately 2 hours before the shift
$2240/Week
