Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Center
Location: Edwardsville, IL
Shift: 8-Hour Evenings (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Contract: 8-Week Contract
Hours: 40 per week
Rate: Up to $2,200 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active Illinois RN license
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Comfortable working in a correctional healthcare environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
- Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Maintain safety and security standards within the correctional facility
