Warehouse Operations Manager

Full-Time Exempt
Monday - Friday 40+ Hours
Salary: $55K +
Position Overview
We’re looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily operations in our small but busy warehouse. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on, improving processes, and keeping a tight ship. You’ll manage inventory, coordinate shipping/receiving, maintain safety standards, and ensure the warehouse runs efficiently every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily operations — Oversee picking, packing, receiving, and shipping workflows.
- Inventory management — Maintain accurate stock counts, conduct cycle counts, and reduce shrink.
- Team leadership — Train, coach, and schedule a small warehouse staff.
- Process improvement — Identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.
- Safety compliance — Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Vendor & carrier coordination — Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Equipment oversight — Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment are maintained and safe.
Required Skills & Experience
- Warehouse experience in a small or mid‑sized facility
- Strong understanding of inventory systems (ERP/WMS)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Solid communication and problem‑solving skills
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, Freight)
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with lean operations
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment
