We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented EVS Aide to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Position Overview:
The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations. This position plays a vital role in infection prevention and contributes directly to the overall comfort and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect resident rooms, including bathrooms, furniture, floors, and surfaces.
Make beds and change linens as scheduled or needed.
Sanitize high-touch areas throughout the facility (e.g., handrails, doorknobs, light switches).
Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as dining rooms, lounges, hallways, and nurse stations.
Properly dispose of trash, recyclables, and biohazard waste following infection control protocols.
Replenish housekeeping supplies including soap, paper products, and disinfectants.
Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carts.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the supervisor.
Follow all OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
Provide respectful and courteous interactions with residents and staff.
Assist in laundry services if assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not always required)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience (especially in healthcare) is preferred
Knowledge of infection control procedures and use of PPE is preferred
