Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support security officers during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure all posts are properly staffed and provide coverage when needed.
  • Conduct roll call, post inspections, and routine patrols.
  • Train, coach, and mentor security officers on site procedures and company expectations.
  • Maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns in a professional manner.
  • Communicate staffing needs, attendance issues, and performance concerns to Operations.
  • Ensure officers maintain a professional appearance and follow company policies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client, Operations, and security staff.
  • Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and overtime needs as directed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous security experience required.
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Military, law enforcement, or corrections experience is a plus.
  • Experience supervising security operations in retail or industrial environments.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, if necessary.
