As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in supporting our Supply Chain operations by ensuring materials are safely received, stored, tracked, and distributed while maintaining inventory accuracy and product traceability.
Your Day-to-Day Impact
You'll play a vital role in our Supply Chain team by:
- Maintaining material traceability through proper use of stencils, unique identifiers, and heat numbers.
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
- Performing basic troubleshooting related to pipe yard operations.
- Reviewing and processing operational documentation, including bills of lading and inventory reports.
- Following all company safety procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Applying inventory management controls and quality procedures.
- Completing daily equipment inspection checklists after each shift.
- Reporting unsafe conditions and near misses to management promptly.
- Providing professional service and communication with customers and visitors.
- Maintaining familiarity with yard layout and material locations.
What You Bring
We're looking for candidates who are sharp, safety-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to understand and execute written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to successfully complete applicable testing requirements.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and push or pull up to 75 pounds.
- Experience working in a warehouse, yard, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred.
