Joe Morgan Honda has a busy parts department and we need your help to continue to grow and offer exceptional customer service Summary:The Parts Counterperson acts as the principal contact between the parts department and the service department for the sale of parts and accessories; and sells parts to all available customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone. Essential Duties: include the following:- Works towards guaranteeing ultimate customer service and satisfaction- Assist all customers (internal and external) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.- Delivers and/or supplies parts for the service techs in a fast and courteous manner.- Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information- Strives to meet department goals and objectives- Pulls and fills orders from stock.- Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.- Write purchase orders. Orders parts, and gets parts from outside suppliers as needed, with Parts or Service Manager's approval.- Exhibits a sufficient level of proficiency in the use of EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) and inventory systems according to dealership standards.- Determines availability of parts and submits emergency orders for out-of-stock parts. QualificationsPrevious automotive parts experience preferredDealership parts experience is a plusHonda parts experience is preferred but not requiredStrong knowledge of automotive parts and basic vehicle systemsAbility to accurately identify parts using a VIN and electronic parts catalogsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working with computers and dealership parts softwareAbility to work effectively with technicians, service advisors, customers, and vendorsMust be dependable, punctual, and professionalValid driver's license with a good driving recordMust be able to pass a background check and drug screening Location:Joe Morgan Honda176 Garver RdMonroe OH 45050
