Elitsac Inc. is looking for a skilled, dependable Fleet Maintenance Technician to keep our rental fleet and delivery vehicles running safely and reliably. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and variety—ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and can operate independently.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair:
- Rental fleet equipment (all types)
- Material handling equipment
- Delivery trucks
- Rental fleet equipment (all types)
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues both in the shop and over the phone
- Communicate with drivers and customers to help resolve equipment problems
- Work with manufacturer technical support as needed
- Order parts and manage repair flow efficiently
- Use rental software and computer systems for parts ordering and service records
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inspection documentation
- Help keep the shop and yard clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with equipment inspections, inventory, and yard operations as needed
- Occasionally assist with local deliveries or equipment moves
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Experience with all types of engines and equipment repair
- Familiarity with rental equipment and/or small engines
- Comfortable troubleshooting verbally with drivers and customers
- Basic computer skills (service entries, parts ordering, rental software)
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage priorities
- Organized, reliable, and safety-focused
- Class A CDL
- Forklift or construction equipment experience
- Previous experience in a lumber yard or rental yard environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop and outdoor yard environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training is a plus)
