CO3 Brands LLC
San Antonio, TX, US Full Time

Job Description

Job Description
Description:

Position Summary

The Team Member at CO3 Brands Tim Hortons is a cross-trained crew member who can confidently work both the beverage station and the food preparation line. Whether crafting a perfectly brewed coffee, building a fresh sandwich, or doing both in the same shift, this person is the backbone of the guest experience. Team Members are expected to be fast, consistent, clean, and genuinely welcoming — every guest, every time.

1. Beverage Preparation (Barista)

• Prepare hot and cold beverages to Tim Hortons standards: drip coffee, espresso drinks, teas, frozen beverages, and specialty drinks.

• Follow recipes and portion standards precisely — consistency is the brand.

• Operate and maintain espresso machines, brewers, and blenders correctly and safely.

• Monitor coffee freshness and brew times; discard and replenish per holding time standards.

• Customize orders accurately (milk alternatives, sugar levels, toppings) and confirm with the guest when needed.

• Keep the beverage station stocked, clean, and organized throughout the shift.

2. Food Preparation (Sandwich Maker)

• Build sandwiches, wraps, and other food items to Tim Hortons recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.

• Operate grills, toasters, and warming equipment safely and per calibration standards.

• Read tickets accurately and assemble orders completely — no missing items, no wrong ingredients.

• Maintain proper ingredient rotation (FIFO), labeling, and storage at all food prep stations.

• Monitor food holding times and temperatures; remove and replace any product that falls out of standard.

• Keep the prep area and all food contact surfaces clean and sanitized continuously throughout the shift.

3. Guest Experience

• Greet every guest warmly and make them feel welcome — whether at the counter, drive-thru, or handoff.

• Take orders accurately and repeat back to confirm, especially for customized items.

• Work at a pace that supports speed-of-service targets without sacrificing quality or accuracy.

• Handle guest concerns politely and immediately; get a Shift Leader involved if you cannot resolve it yourself.

• Represent the Tim Hortons brand with a clean uniform, positive attitude, and professional behavior at all times.

4. Food Safety & Cleanliness

• Follow all food safety protocols at all times: handwashing, glove use, temperature checks, and proper storage.

• Complete temperature logs and checklists accurately at assigned intervals — never estimate or skip.

• Maintain personal hygiene standards: clean uniform, hair restraint, and no jewelry near food prep areas.

• Keep your station, equipment, and surrounding area clean throughout the shift — not just at close.

• Report any food safety concern (spoiled product, equipment malfunction, temperature issue) to your Shift Leader immediately.

5. General Duties

• Stock and replenish ingredients, supplies, and packaging at your station proactively — don't wait to be asked.

• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned by your Shift Leader.

• Support other stations during peak periods — be ready to move where the team needs you.

• Communicate clearly with your Shift Leader about supply shortages, equipment issues, or guest concerns.

• Follow all company policies, safety rules, and brand standards without exception.
