Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical | Night Shift

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical Unit at a rural hospital in Vinita, Oklahoma. This is a great opportunity for an RN who is looking for a stable hospital position and is comfortable working night shifts with some flexibility in scheduling.

The RN will provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care while assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Pay: Starting at $33.15/hour
Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 for qualified candidates relocating from 71+ miles away

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and provide nursing care according to hospital standards and unit policies.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Provide patient and family education based on individual needs.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with discharge planning, referrals, and appropriate patient education.
• Participate in unit education, quality improvement, and hospital initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional patient-care environment.

Requirements

• Valid Oklahoma RN license or multi-state RN license.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with a nursing diploma or degree.
• Up to 6 months of related experience is required/preferred based on the position requirements.
• Knowledge of general disease management, the biopsychosocial model, and clinical pathways is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize patient-care responsibilities.
• Must be flexible with scheduling and comfortable working night shifts.

Schedule

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Two 12-hour shifts
• Rural hospital setting
• Schedule flexibility required

Compensation & Relocation

• Starting pay: $33.15/hour
