QA Document Control Coordinator

Location: Fenton, MO
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire / Full-Time
Pay Rate: $26.00 / hour
Work Schedule: M-F; 8am-5pm

Job Purpose
Biotechnology company focusing on life science seeking QA Document Control Coordinator . This will be responsible for managing the daily Quality Assurance documentation and supporting the integrity of our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze & Set Objectives: Establish, monitor, and procure goals and objectives related to Quality Assurance.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any quality-related issues that may arise during daily operations.
  • QMS & Documentation Monitoring: Oversee QA activities including training records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Batch Records (SOPBRs), QMS documents, change controls, and customer feedback.
  • Compliance Support: Diligently follow and support all established procedures within the Quality Management System.
  • Training Management: Manage employee training tracking and documentation within their assigned roles.
  • Document Control: Review, revise, update, and create new documents, SOPs, and SOPBRs as needed.
  • Equipment Oversight: Monitor equipment status and maintenance schedules.
  • Shipment Review: Perform reviews of outbound shipments to meet quality standards.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay current on industry quality issues, regulations, and developments affecting quality assurance.
  • Cross-Functional Duties: Perform other assigned tasks both within and outside the department as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Associate degree in science discipline or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous professional experience within a documentation role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly organized, capable of working independently, and exceptionally detail oriented.
