We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician / Foreman to perform various phases of commercial work ranging from new construction to fit-outs. The role involves tasks such as rough-in and finished work, trenching, site work, and the installation of electrical systems. You will work independently or as part of a team on projects primarily in the Lehigh Valley, with occasional travel to nearby locations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform rough-in and finished electrical work.
  • Conduct trenching and site work.
  • Bend conduits and ask how big of a pipe you're comfortable bending.
  • Run and pull wires, and inquire about the types of wires/cables you've worked with.
  • Install electrical systems including panels, switch gears, switches, receptacles, and various electrical fixtures.
  • Read blueprints, which is a significant advantage.
  • Prioritize safety and ideally possess an OSHA-10 certification.
  • Attend daily toolbox meetings to determine assignments.
  • Complete tasks independently or as a team throughout the day.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
  • 3+ years of field experience.
  • Proficiency in conduit bending and installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and components.
  • Possession of basic hand and power tools, or willingness to acquire them.
  • Possession of personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, high visibility shirts/vest, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Blueprint reading is a big plus.
  • OSHA-10 certification is beneficial but not mandatory.

Work Environment

Work primarily in commercial construction sites both indoors and outdoors. The role requires traveling to various job sites. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with potential variations depending on job sites, and occasional Saturday work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
