Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Material Handler II who will be responsible for the safe receiving, inspection, movement, tracking, storage, and shipment of custom-made servers and components. The role involves reviewing product and process documents and ensuring accurate processing. Additionally, the position may require training other Material Handlers and supporting the Team Lead as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform the safe receiving, movement, tracking, storage, and shipment of custom-made servers and components.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform material handling tasks.
- Process product documentation accurately and implement appropriate corrective action as needed.
- Use the MRP system to enter and retrieve accurate data.
- Maintain product inventory by receiving, identifying, labeling, and storing products within the warehouse according to processes and procedures.
- Ensure shipment of products within shipping deadlines, maintaining communication with internal facility staff.
- Adhere to ISO procedures, Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Lean principles.
- Work with safety, efficiency, and accuracy as priorities, ensuring quality and safety standards are continuously followed.
- Support the Production team as needed.
- Report events and activities outside normal parameters to the Team Lead and assist in resolving issues within operational and safety guidelines.
- Provide feedback for workflow improvements.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving.
- 2+ years of experience in material handling, including processing and documentation.
- Warehouse experience, particularly in processes such as picking and put-away.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of warehousing experience in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO, GMP).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Any warehousing experience in FDA, ISO, GDP, Lean environment preferred.
- At least 2 years of picking, pulling, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
- Experience with MRP or ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

Work Environment
The role is based on a fairly large campus, focusing on handling delicate and expensive products, requiring high attention to detail. The schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am/8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of RICHMOND, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
