Job Description
As a Painter, you will complete painting and blasting procedures for a range of products, including mobile water tanks, trailers, dump bodies, stationary structures, and piece work.
Responsibilities
- Mix paints to match color specifications or original colors, then stir and thin the paints using spatulas or mixing equipment.
- Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from surfaces in preparation for paint application using abrasives, solvents, brushes, washing tanks, or sandblasters.
- Pour paint into spray guns and adjust nozzles and paint mixes for proper paint flow and coating thickness.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in paint, industrial priming, and application.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial or industrial painting.
- Knowledge of equipment, tools, and paints.
- Familiarity with water-based painting is ideal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Capability to stand, bend, and climb for long periods.

Work Environment
You will work in an outside environment, which may expose you to various weather conditions including cold, hot, or wet climates. Ear protection is required when exposed to loud machinery. The regular shift is Monday through Friday, from 5 AM to 1:30 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
