We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to lead core HR operations and help shape a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace in Hauppauge, New York. This role is ideal for a strategic people leader who can balance day-to-day human resources management with long-term planning across employee relations, benefits, and policy administration. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership experience, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of compensation, compliance, and employee support programs.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the human resources function, providing direction across employee relations, policy administration, benefits oversight, and organizational HR practices.
• Guide managers and leadership on workplace matters, including performance concerns, conflict resolution, and employee engagement strategies.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and alignment with business goals.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, and records while ensuring practices meet applicable labor laws and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and develop HR staff, establishing priorities and promoting consistent, high-quality service delivery.
• Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management initiatives.
• Review and improve HR processes to strengthen efficiency, consistency, and the overall employee experience.
• Monitor compliance requirements and recommend updates to programs or policies as employment regulations evolve.• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 7 years of progressive human resources experience.
• Prior management experience with responsibility for leading teams or supervising HR staff.
• Strong background in employee relations, HR administration, and benefits management.
• Working knowledge of compensation practices and human resources compliance requirements.
• Ability to interpret policies, apply sound judgment, and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
• Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to partner across all levels of an organization.
