  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to diagnose problems and complete repairs correctly.
  • Use PLC troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve basic control and automation issues where applicable.

  • Work effectively within the maintenance mechanic level structure (M1, M2, M3, C0, C1) and develop skills to advance to higher levels with increased mechanical, electrical, and automation responsibilities.

Essential Skills

  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to maintenance and safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced metal stamping environment with punch presses is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment, even outside of metal stamping, is beneficial.
  • Exposure to thermoforming, rewinding, or interfolding machines is a plus.
  • Experience in roles with increasing responsibility, such as progressing through mechanic levels, is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with automation and more advanced electrical troubleshooting is valuable for higher-level mechanic roles.
  • Ability to adapt to a high-volume production environment with multiple types of machinery.
