You will work as part of a small production crew, learn to operate and set up company-specific machinery, and support safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

  • Monitor production output throughout the shift to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and verify that they meet required specifications and measurements.
  • Identify and report quality issues, equipment irregularities, or process concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic inspections to support preventative maintenance efforts.
  • Keep production areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards throughout the shift.
  • Record production activity and quality information accurately and in a timely manner, following company documentation practices.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment, and support a safety-first culture.
  • Work collaboratively within a small production crew, communicate effectively, and assist teammates to maintain production flow.
  • Handle materials, package products, and support general production tasks as needed to meet production targets.
  • Participate in continuous learning, cross-training, and process improvement activities to enhance efficiency and quality.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with quality inspection, troubleshooting, and identifying production defects.
  • Interest in developing long-term skills in manufacturing, mechanical operations, and troubleshooting.

Why Work Here?

Employees benefit from paid, on-the-job training that allows them to enter manufacturing without prior machine operating experience. The company offers a stable, established production environment with steady full-time work and clear opportunities for career growth into more advanced machine operating and production roles. Team members work in small, supportive crews where collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning are central to the culture. The role provides hands-on, active work that builds valuable and transferable manufacturing, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills, ideal for those who prefer working with equipment over a desk-based job.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing facility with multiple production lines operating simultaneously, creating an environment with regular exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and industrial noise. Personal protective equipment is required, and employees spend most of their shift standing, performing repetitive movements, and handling materials. The work is production-focused, with consistent expectations for quality, efficiency, and routine machine monitoring at a pace that meets production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards. Employees work within small production crews, interact frequently with other machine operators and supervisors, and engage in collaborative problem solving and continuous learning from experienced operators. The culture emphasizes a safety-first mindset, dependability, teamwork, and a strong focus on learning and development, supported by hands-on leadership and mentorship.
