Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in our Maintenance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of machinery and equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulic components, and machine controls, through regular repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical tests to identify the exact cause of issues.
  • Maintain equipment and machinery, repairing or replacing defective parts as necessary.
  • Track and maintain labor, parts, and machine history using the plant CMMS.
  • Operate and service the plant boiler, autoclaves, and other HVAC equipment.
  • Provide necessary support to various departments to resolve day-to-day maintenance issues.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Allen-Bradley PLC (PLC-5 preferred).
  • Proven expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Experience with WonderWare or other industrial HMI software is a bonus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of heavy industrial mechanical and millwright experience in a continuous 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Experience maintaining large industrial equipment.
  • Attention to detail and diligence in follow-up.
  • Knowledge of root cause and fault-free analysis techniques.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attendance record and consistent tenure.
  • Related education or certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting and PLC/VFDs.

Work Environment

Our facilities are engaged in the production of construction materials and can be loud and dirty, requiring a commitment to working extensive overtime. The work schedule includes a night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM and a day shift from 6 AM to 6 PM, following a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Candidates must be open to working both shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $67350.00 - $99611.00/yr.
