Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to work on industrial and construction electrical projects in Lancaster, PA. You will install, alter, and repair electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment while ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical codes. The position involves both new construction and plant maintenance environments, requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret blueprints and code requirements.
Responsibilities
- Run wire and pipe for electrical systems in industrial and construction environments.
- Install electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and associated materials in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Perform installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems and conductors.
- Apply all wiring methods associated with construction electrical work, including rough-ins and finishes.
- Properly interpret and apply code requirements related to wire size, conduit size, de-rating, and overcurrent protection.
- Use pipe threading equipment safely and effectively to prepare and install conduit and piping.
- Perform conduit bending and rigging tasks to support electrical installations.
- Read and comprehend various blueprints and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical work.
- Support both new construction projects and indoor plant maintenance activities as needed.
- Collaborate with team members, assist on various projects, and help train others when appropriate.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when working on client sites and interacting with others.
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to required personal protective equipment and dress code.
Essential Skills
- Demonstrated experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments.
- Strong conduit bending skills and proficiency in electrical wiring installation.
- Ability to perform rough-ins and finishes for electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending blueprints and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems and conductors.
- Knowledge and practical use of wiring methods associated with construction electrical work.

Work Environment
The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions. Projects involve outdoor new construction work as well as indoor plant maintenance activities. You will work on client sites and are expected to represent the company professionally at all times. The required dress code includes long pants, hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toe footwear; tank tops are not permitted. Safety is a priority, and you will regularly use tools and equipment such as pipe threading machinery and other industrial electrical installation tools while adhering to all site and safety protocols.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
