Stamp Press Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Walker, MI
Shift: 2nd (3:00pm–1:10am, Mon–Thurs; orientation at 2:00pm)
Pay: $19.50/hour

Become a key part of our dynamic production team as an Assembly Cell Operator. You will operate and monitor press and banding tools within an assembly cell while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate equipment in an assembly cell to maintain workflow and production quotas
- Organize completed assemblies and keep work areas free of excess materials
- Load assemblies onto pallets using established stacking methods
- Create inventory tags (Router/WIP) as required
- Execute basic operations within your work cell per instructions
- Procure batches and follow the production priority schedule
- Assemble packaging materials as needed
- Perform quality checks and inspect parts during packing
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment aligned with 5S standards
- Follow all Quality Objectives, System Policies, Procedures, and Instructions
- Adhere to established production and quality standards
- Prioritize safety for yourself, the team, and company products
- Set up dies accurately, following standardized instructions
- Verify proper packaging and piece counts for skids/containers
- Enter production data accurately into the MRP (AX) system
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and interpret safety, production, and quality documents
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Positive team player with effective communication skills
- Able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and perform various physical tasks
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards a plus
