We are seeking skilled Machinists responsible for setups, operation, and editing of codes on a variety of CNC machinery. The role involves drilling and milling components for the aerospace and oil/gas industries. Candidates must have job shop experience to handle longer setups and specific machining processes.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machinery.
  • Edit G&M codes and programs, primarily using Fanuc.
  • Perform drilling and milling for aerospace and oil/gas components.
  • Utilize job shop experience to manage longer setups and specific machining processes.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in CNC machining.
  • Proficiency in setups and editing G&M codes.
  • Knowledge of programming (Fanuc mostly), lathe, and mill operations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use calipers and micrometres.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Familiarity with brands of machines such as OKK, Hermle, DMG, Kuraki, Nigata, and Job Gantry.
  • Experience with 7 surface grinders, 4 5-axis machines, 7 VMCs, 10 HMCs, and 2 EDM sinker machines.

Work Environment

The work environment offers two shifts: 1st shift from 6am-4:30pm, where programming skills are required, and 2nd shift from 4pm-4am, where a 15% premium is offered and operators are sufficient. The shop is clean and well-equipped with advanced CNC machines.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grafton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
