Accounting Administrative Assistant

LHH Recruitment is recruiting for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Administrator to join a growing manufacturing company in the Tempe area. This position will provide day-to-day accounting and administrative support to the finance and operations teams, helping ensure accurate financial records, timely processing, and smooth administrative workflows. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday. The salary range is between $55,000-$60,000

The ideal candidate will have experience in an accounting or finance support environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. SAP experience is strongly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide daily accounting and administrative support to the finance and accounting department.
  • Process and maintain financial documentation, invoices, purchase orders, and other accounting records.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
  • Enter and maintain accurate financial data within the accounting/ERP system.
  • Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy and proper coding.
  • Assist with account reconciliations and research discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting files and documentation.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other financial documentation for management.
  • Communicate with internal departments, vendors, and customers regarding accounting-related questions.
  • Assist with tracking purchase orders, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
  • Support the accounting team with special projects, data entry, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accounting records and documentation are maintained accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, accounting administration, or finance support role.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, or general accounting functions.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with accounting, operations, purchasing, and other internal teams.
  • Manufacturing or distribution industry experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma required; accounting, finance, or business coursework/degree preferred.

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
