Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated A&P Technician I to join our team, where you will perform and assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of basic aircraft systems and structures under close supervision. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and either an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or two years of aviation maintenance experience. A working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures is essential.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively to understand and receive work assignments.
- Perform basic aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications under supervision.
- Assist with aircraft movement as necessary.
- Complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork promptly.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and tag customer property and equipment correctly; store them securely.
- Operate ground support equipment following standard operating procedures.
- Protect customer property appropriately.
- Utilize the material tracking system for parts demand and labor charges.
- Collect and dispose of waste materials properly, maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
- Use and maintain company tools and equipment, returning them to storage after use.
- Comply with safety rules and procedures, using protective equipment and addressing unsafe conditions.
- Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or 2 years of aviation maintenance experience
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and process specifications
- Understanding of Repair Station and Quality Control manuals

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.65 - $25.65/hr.
