HR GENERALIST - with Rippling HRIS/Payroll Experience
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our client with processing payroll, benefits administration, leaves of absence, HR compliance, and employee data management.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and has direct experience using Rippling for HRIS and payroll processing. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a hands-on HR specialist who can manage core employee processes, oversee benefits administration, maintain compliance with HR policies and regulations, and handle payroll for a workforce of more than 100 employees. The right candidate will bring strong judgment, practical HR systems knowledge, and the ability to provide reliable day-to-day support across the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily human resources operations, ensuring employee records, documentation, and workflows are maintained accurately and efficiently.
• Administer employee benefits programs, respond to questions, and coordinate enrollments, updates, and related processes.
• Manage onboarding activities for new hires, helping create a smooth and organized start for employees joining the company.
• Support employee relations matters by addressing workplace concerns effectively and partnering with leadership on appropriate resolutions.
• Process bi-monthly payroll for more than 100 employees with a high degree of accuracy and attention to deadlines.
• Maintain and utilize HRIS and payroll systems effectively, including Rippling, to support reporting, recordkeeping, and routine transactions.
• Help ensure HR practices remain aligned with applicable employment laws, company policies, and compliance requirements.
• Assist with broader HR administration, including audits, status changes, and other employee lifecycle updates as needed
• 5+ years of experience in human resources, including at least 3 years in an HR generalist capacity.
• Hands-on experience using Rippling for HR administration and payroll processing.
• Strong background in benefits administration and employee support across core HR functions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HR compliance requirements and employment-related best practices.
• Experience processing payroll for an employee population of more than 100 workers.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and payroll systems, including bi-monthly payroll processing.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle employee matters with discretion and professionalism.
