Litigation Contract Attorney (Remote - California Licensed Attorneys Only)
Compensation: $80-$110/hour DOE
Location: Remote considered (California Residents Only) | Hybrid preferred, Manhattan Beach

LHH is partnering with a busy California litigation firm to identify a Contract Litigation Attorney to support a high-stakes, complex business litigation matter. This is an immediate opportunity for an attorney who can quickly step in and provide substantive litigation support on a significant business-to-business dispute.

Candidates must be available to start immediately.

This engagement is expected to be full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) for an initial one-month assignment, with the potential for extension based on case needs and workload.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and other litigation-related documents
  • Support complex business and civil litigation matters
  • Assist with federal court litigation
  • Conduct legal research and case analysis
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and co-counsel on case strategy and execution
Qualifications
  • Active California Bar license required
  • Must reside in California
  • Experience handling complex business litigation
  • Preferred experience with high-value business-to-business (B2B) disputes
  • Strong civil litigation background
  • Federal litigation experience preferred
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and motion drafting skills
  • Ability to independently manage substantive litigation tasks

Pay Details: $90.00 to $110.00 per hour
