Job Description
This role focuses on assembling mechanical and electronic level and pressure devices at ergonomic, standing workstations within a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. You will follow detailed printed photos, written work instructions, bills of material, and samples to build sub-assemblies and final assemblies using a variety of hand and power tools. The position requires strong attention to detail, consistent quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a production setting while performing routine, repetitive assembly operations.
Responsibilities- Perform routine assembly operations of mechanical and/or electronic components and sub-assemblies in the product line, following samples, bills of material, prints, written work instructions, and verbal directions.
- Assemble devices to form complete units or sub-assemblies at designated stations, including programming transmitters and using laser equipment as specified by work instructions.
- Use various hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and other light tools to complete assembly tasks safely and accurately.
- Fabricate sub-components as needed using appropriate tools and machines to support the overall assembly process.
- Perform visual inspections during and after assembly to verify correct component placement, workmanship quality, and overall product integrity.
- Conduct functional testing of assemblies and devices to ensure they meet performance and quality standards.
- Perform calibration of devices as needed, following established procedures and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts and components at the workstation and promptly notify the team lead of any adjustments, discrepancies, or scrap.
- Follow all safety, quality, and Lean manufacturing practices, including proper use of ergonomic workstations and tools.
- Work productively throughout the shift while standing for extended periods and meeting production and quality targets.
- Use basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and production-related systems, to access work instructions, record data, and support documentation requirements.
- Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift while performing assembly tasks at a standing workstation.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and producing consistent, high-quality parts.
- Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity to work with small components, tools, and assemblies.
- Experience using hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and similar equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow written work instructions, bills of material, and safety guidelines.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and working with units of measurement.
- Basic computer skills, including use of Microsoft Suite and production-related software or systems.
- Comfort working with mechanical, electrical, and electronic assembly tasks such as wiring, soldering, and general production work.
- Ability to work in a production or assembly line environment, including packaging, mechanical assembly, and general labor tasks as needed.
- Willingness and ability to wear steel-toed or composite safety shoes; a boot or shoe voucher is typically provided after conversion to a permanent role.
- Soldering experience in an electronic or electrical assembly environment.
- Previous assembly experience in manufacturing or production settings.
- Experience in manufacturing or logistics is preferred and may influence pay level.
- Experience using torque equipment and following torque specifications.
- Background in electrical assembly, electronic assembly, wiring, or related technical work.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints or technical drawings.
- Experience working in cleanroom, packaging, or general production environments.
- Comfort working with power tools and hand tools in a safe and controlled manner.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a safety-first, climate-controlled, and clean manufacturing facility that utilizes Lean practices and ergonomic workstations to enhance productivity and comfort. Assemblers work at standing desk-style stations equipped with ergonomic floor mats, printed photos, and written work instructions, as well as light tools such as screwdrivers and torque wrenches. The environment supports both mechanical and electronic assembly, including tasks like wiring, soldering, and calibration. There are multiple shifts available. The first shift typically runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The second shift typically runs from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. A shift differential applies to second shift. Pay is determined by experience within a defined range, with higher rates available for candidates with more years of manufacturing or logistics experience. Overtime may be mandated at times, including occasional weekends, and is generally communicated in advance. The facility offers on-site amenities such as a cafeteria that operates until early afternoon with subsidized food options, free fruit, and free coffee. There is also an on-site gym and access to an on-site physical trainer for ergonomic support. An on-site health clinic is available for employees covered under the company’s insurance plan. The workplace emphasizes ergonomic support and safety, including the requirement for steel-toed or composite safety shoes; employees may receive a boot voucher up to a specified amount once they become permanent staff. Dress expectations align with a typical manufacturing environment, focusing on safety-compliant attire suitable for working with tools and equipment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
