• Draft, format, and revise legal documents, letters, and other case-related correspondence based on attorney direction and working drafts.
• Maintain accurate case records within firm systems, ensuring documents are properly filed, updated, and easy to retrieve.
• Create, organize, and manage physical and electronic case files to support efficient matter handling from opening through resolution.
• Oversee attorney calendars by scheduling hearings, depositions, meetings, and other key case events while helping prevent scheduling conflicts.
• Track incoming communications and case activity daily to help ensure deadlines, court requirements, and follow-up items are addressed promptly.
• Support filing activities, including electronic court filings, and help prepare materials needed for litigation proceedings.
• Assist with administrative and legal support tasks related to personal injury matters and other active litigation cases as needed.• At least 5 years of experience in a law firm environment, including substantial exposure to litigation support work.
• Demonstrated knowledge of court filings, e-filing procedures, and legal document preparation.
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven setting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while following established legal procedures and court rules.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a detail-focused approach to supporting attorneys and clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working with legal file management systems.
• Experience with calendar management, scheduling, and coordinating litigation-related events.
• Background in personal injury litigation is preferred, and prior executive assistant experience would be an advantage.
