Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Service Technicians eager to advance their careers. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining overhead cranes, hoists, and material handling equipment at customer facilities throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on industrial equipment.
- Respond to emergency breakdown calls and perform field service repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls, motors, drives, limit switches, and mechanical components.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections as needed.
- Communicate with customers regarding equipment issues and repairs.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders.
- Travel to customer facilities throughout the region.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with motors, '3 phase' systems, and cranes.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with VFD, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Comfortable working with 480v electrical systems.
- Ability to work comfortably at heights and around overhead equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous electrical troubleshooting experience is highly preferred.

Work Environment
Work in a large manufacturing setting, primarily during the day shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. While the facility is extensive, with hundreds of employees, our team will consist of only up to five members. The role requires navigating the facility, working at heights of 30-45 feet using boom or scissor lifts. Safety is paramount, both for the company and the clients served. This clean and well-maintained environment ensures a pleasant working experience.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
