We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual will oversee subcontractor buyout, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, client management, and overall project execution while partnering closely with superintendents, estimators, and ownership teams. Work Environment:

  • Location: Englewood, CO
  • Primarily office-based with regular travel to project sites as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage subcontractor selection, scope development, negotiations, and buyout processes
  • Coordinate permitting, entitlement, and approval processes with applicable jurisdictions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Collaborate with preconstruction teams on budgeting, scheduling, logistics, manpower planning, and constructability reviews
  • Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, profitability, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and manage owner pay applications and project billings
  • Partner with project superintendents to develop and maintain CPM schedules
  • Identify project risks, delays, and recovery strategies
  • Manage change orders, contract modifications, and negotiations with owners and design teams
  • Lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and provide consistent project updates
  • Support business development efforts, including client meetings, industry events, networking functions, interviews, and RFP pursuits
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients while maintaining a firm but fair approach to project leadership

Qualifications:

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 3-10 years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects through completion
  • Strong understanding of cost forecasting and budget management, owner change order preparation and negotiations, subcontractor management, and client relationship management
  • Experience coordinating multiple project stakeholders, including owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and construction management software platforms
  • Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to participate in business development and industry networking activities

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing projects valued $50M and above
  • Experience using ProjectSight
  • Ground-up construction experience
Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
