Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and manage our second shift team from Monday to Thursday, with additional hours on Fridays. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising approximately 30 team members in either press or assembly teams. This is a direct hire opportunity where you will play a key role in ensuring efficient production and high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, and train members of press or assembly teams.
- Plan, assign, and direct workflow to optimize production.
- Monitor total output, quality, and compliance with 6S practices.
- Analyze production and scrap records to improve measures.
- Maintain compliance with ISO/TS standards and accurate documentation.
- Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve methods.
- Assist in employee selection and team development.
- Track and enter employee hours, attendance, and vacation time.
- Train employees in necessary skills and support ongoing training initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR and management to resolve employee issues.
- Enforce company safety regulations and conduct weekly safety talks.
- Consistently apply disciplinary and other company policies.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of manufacturing supervision experience.
- Proficiency in computer/system skills including Word, Excel, ERP, etc.
- High School Diploma.
- Effective leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of robotic assembly or hydraulic presses is beneficial.
- Previous automotive manufacturing experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of automotive stamping is a plus.
