Database Manager

We are looking for a Database Manager to support the ongoing performance, reliability, and usability of critical database systems in New Orleans, Louisiana. This Long-term Contract position will focus on database upkeep, recurring reporting needs, and coordination of updates that improve access to information across the organization. The role also contributes to website content maintenance and enhancements to training-related resources, requiring a balance of technical expertise, organization, and day-to-day operational support.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily database administration activities to maintain system stability, data accuracy, and dependable performance.
• Produce and manage scheduled reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring information is timely and well organized.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks that support database health, availability, and long-term functionality.
• Update and maintain web-based data or content components connected to organizational information resources.
• Improve and refresh training module materials so users have access to accurate and current system guidance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to database access and user support, coordinating resolutions efficiently.
• Support administrative technology needs involving remote access environments and end-user desktop systems when required.• Experience managing and maintaining database environments in a business or organizational setting.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory for user access and administrative support.
• Familiarity with Citrix technologies and remote desktop tools used in daily operations.
• Background in desktop administration and general end-user technical support.
• Understanding of computer hardware and its interaction with business systems.
• Ability to organize recurring reporting tasks and maintain accuracy across multiple reporting cycles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support users and explain technical information clearly.
