Laboratory Technician - MLT/CLS/LVN: Excellent Pay + Standard Benefits

The Laboratory Technician – MLT/CLS/LVN plays a crucial role performing waived laboratory testing in a mobile and remote setting under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager. This position involves specimen processing, quality control, blood collection, accurate documentation, and equipment troubleshooting, contributing to efficient and compliant point-of-care testing services.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform point-of-care testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, and Coagulation.
• Receive, process, and document patient specimens accurately.
• Conduct venipuncture and capillary blood collection.
• Perform and document quality-control testing and maintain QC records.
• Enter patient information, orders, and test results into the laboratory system.
• Verify abnormal or unusual test results and escalate to management as necessary.
• Monitor STAT testing and turnaround times to ensure timely results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Troubleshoot equipment, computer, and workflow issues promptly.
• Follow laboratory safety and infection-control protocols rigorously.
• Drive a company van as required for mobile laboratory operations.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure or qualification as an LVN, MLT, or CLS as applicable.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with laboratory workflow and procedures.
• Certification or licensure required by California for waived testing personnel.
• COVID-19 vaccination completion or approved exemption.

Pay

• $26–$32/hour (Based on Experience)
