Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you'll help ensure products are received, stored, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time by:

• Operating stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, move, and stage materials
• Receiving incoming products and verifying quantities against shipping documentation
• Maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management and inventory systems
• Picking orders and preparing shipments to meet customer delivery commitments
• Packaging products according to company quality and shipping standards
• Monitoring packing supply inventory and assisting with replenishment as needed
• Supporting daily warehouse operations through material handling and organization
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Following all safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and warehouse best practices

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of forklift operating experience, preferably with stand-up forklifts
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or material handling environments
• Basic computer skills and experience working with inventory or warehouse management systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when counting, documenting, and handling products
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with order picking, loading/unloading, and inventory control
• Familiarity with pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
• Shipping and packaging experience
• RF scanner or inventory tracking experience
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:45 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

This role is based in a modern, climate-controlled warehouse designed with employee comfort and safety in mind. Team members regularly operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while using computer-based inventory systems. The position involves standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the workday.

This is a Contract position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
