Our client is looking for a Litigation Attorney to join their firm in Napa! This permanent opportunity is ideal for a licensed attorney who is ready to take ownership of a varied caseload spanning civil disputes and construction-related matters while working closely with a collaborative legal team. The role offers meaningful client exposure, hands-on litigation responsibility, and the chance to contribute across multiple phases of case strategy and execution.


Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution, maintaining momentum across each stage of the legal process.

• Prepare well-supported pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings that advance client objectives and meet procedural requirements.

• Conduct thorough legal research and apply findings to case strategy, written arguments, and client advisement.

• Oversee written discovery, evaluate responses, and develop approaches for fact gathering and case development.

• Handle matters involving civil litigation and construction-related disputes with sound judgment and attention to detail.

• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to coordinate filings, deadlines, and overall case progression.

• Communicate with clients regarding case developments, legal options, and recommended next steps.

• Maintain a monthly billable workload expectation of 130 hours while delivering high-quality legal work.

• Active license to practice law and good standing with the applicable state bar.
• At least 3 years of experience handling litigation matters as a practicing attorney.
• Demonstrated background in civil litigation, including motion practice and case development.
• Experience drafting motions, briefs, and discovery materials with strong written advocacy skills.
• Familiarity with construction litigation or construction law matters.
• Ability to manage multiple active cases independently while meeting deadlines and billing expectations.
• Strong legal research, analytical thinking, and client communication skills.
