Job Description
This role focuses on installing electrical systems on new commercial construction projects, including retail locations, industrial facilities, and institutional buildings. You will use your journeyman-level expertise to install, troubleshoot, and complete high-quality electrical work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems on new commercial construction projects, including retail stores, industrial plants, and other commercial facilities.
- Read and follow electrical plans, diagrams, and specifications to complete installations accurately and safely.
- Install, bend, and secure conduit to route electrical wiring throughout commercial structures.
- Pull MC cable and other wiring types to designated locations in accordance with code and project requirements.
- Perform terminations, connections, and wiring for panels, devices, and equipment as required.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and assist in resolving problems to keep projects on schedule.
- Use personal hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete daily tasks.
- Collaborate with other electricians and construction trades on active job sites to coordinate work and maintain productivity.
- Follow all applicable electrical codes, site safety rules, and company procedures while working on commercial job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and materials are properly stored and handled.
Work Environment
You work primarily on commercial construction projects, often outdoors and on active job sites such as plants, retail locations, and other commercial facilities. The role involves physical, hands-on work that includes standing, bending, lifting, and working with tools and materials throughout the day. You will use standard electrical tools, conduit benders, and equipment typical of commercial electrical installation. Work occurs in a construction environment with varying weather conditions, and you collaborate closely with other trades and crew members to complete projects on time.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
