Job Description
As a Tester Operator, you will be responsible for testing manufactured printed circuit boards. You will connect the boards using multiple cables and initiate a pass/fail test. Boards that pass will be placed in one pile, while those that fail will require a report, error code documentation, and will be placed in a fail pile. The work station will include a computer, cables, and other tools, all of which you will maintain. Success in this role requires attention to cleanliness, adherence to 5S and lean manufacturing principles, and following ESD environment controls.
Responsibilities
- Test manufactured printed circuit boards by connecting them with multiple cables.
- Conduct pass/fail tests and manage the sorting of boards based on test outcomes.
- Complete reports and document error codes for failed boards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work station, adhering to 5S principles.
- Follow lean manufacturing and ESD environment controls.
Essential Skills
- Quality control and inspection skills.
- Knowledge of testing processes and procedures.
- Ability to work with computers and perform data entry.
- Experience with hand tools and printed circuit boards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with multiple computer programs and an MES system.
- Previous experience in electronics or PCBA manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm, with minimal overtime expected. Employees take a 30-minute meal break daily. The work takes place in an ESD environment, requiring adherence to specific safety standards. The facility fosters a culture of teamwork and longevity, with many employees having been part of the manufacturing team for years. Note: There is a strict no phone policy on the manufacturing floor, with non-compliance resulting in termination.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
