Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the review, negotiation, and management of a wide range of business agreements. This is a highly independent role for someone with strong contract review experience, sound judgment, and the ability to confidently communicate risks and recommendations to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate can quickly learn the business, work with minimal supervision, and take ownership of the contract review process from initial review through execution and renewal. The anticipated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $150,000 a year.

Responsibilities:

· Review and analyze vendor, service, healthcare, provider, and operational agreements.

· Identify contractual risks, unfavorable terms, and areas requiring revision.

· Prepare redlines and negotiate terms as needed.

· Advise internal stakeholders and leadership on contract risks and recommendations.

· Manage contract records, renewals, expiration dates, and cancellation deadlines using a contract management system.

· Coordinate contract renewals, amendments, and terminations.

· Draft agreements using established templates and contract resources when needed.

· Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure agreements move efficiently through the review and execution process.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience reviewing and managing contracts independently.

· Strong understanding of contractual risk and ability to recommend appropriate changes.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong executive-level communication and interpersonal skills.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Strong professional judgment, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

· Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and business requirements.

· Experience with contract management software is preferred.

Ideal backgrounds may include: Contracts Manager, Senior Contracts Specialist, Contracts Specialist, Contracts Coordinator, Legal Studies professional, or another professional with strong contract review, legal, or compliance experience.
