General Production Worker
Job Description
This weekend shift general production role focuses on operating within an organized metal stamping facility, following clear assembly instructions, performing quality checks, and preparing products for shipment. You will work Friday through Sunday from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., totaling 36 hours while being paid for 40 hours, contributing to efficient production and packaging of parts.
Responsibilities- Work at an assembly station, following written and verbal instructions to complete production tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Perform quality inspections on parts and products to ensure they meet established standards before packaging.
- Build boxes and paper skids to prepare materials and products for safe transport and storage.
- Pack and secure parts at the packing station using banding tools and other equipment to ensure products are properly protected.
- Support production operations by loading and unloading materials and products as needed.
- Operate production and stamping machinery in a safe and efficient manner, following all operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety, productivity, and product quality.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required protective equipment, especially when working near stamping presses.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues promptly.
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience in a production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly during the shift.
- Experience with basic production tasks such as machine operation, loading, and unloading.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions at an assembly station and complete tasks with attention to detail.
- Capability to perform quality inspections and identify defects or issues with parts.
- Comfort working with banding tools and other basic packing equipment.
- Reliability to work a consistent weekend schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
- Strong focus on safety and adherence to facility procedures in a metal stamping environment.
- 6 or more months of experience working in metal stamping or with stamping presses.
- Prior experience in a high-volume production or assembly environment.
- Familiarity with packaging processes, including building boxes and skids.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting production machinery.
- Ability to work effectively in a loud environment with ongoing machine operation.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
