Medical Assistant

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Insight Global is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a multi-specialty practice in McLean, VA. This individual will support both clinical and administrative functions while assisting providers across multiple specialty practices. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable supporting a high-volume patient population.

Ideal Candidate:

• MedStar health background
• CMA
• Multi-specialty experience
• Urology or Vein Clinic experience

Must Haves:

• Current CPR and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a science-related field OR relevant Medical Assistant experience
• Comfortable working with a predominantly male patient population
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced specialty clinic
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Plusses:

• Previous MedStar Health experience - take out when posting online!!!!!!!
• Urology experience
• Vascular or Vein Clinic experience
• Experience supporting multiple medical specialties
• CMA

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Rooming patients and obtaining vitals
• Supporting providers across multiple specialties
• Assisting with clinical and administrative duties
• Managing approximately 35-45 patient visits per day
• Cross-training with Cardiology as needed for front desk duties
• Assisting with Urology, Podiatry, Pulmonary, Endocrinology, General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, and Vascular patients
• Supporting both the McLean and Reston locations when required
• Maintaining patient flow and ensuring efficient clinic operations
• Providing excellent patient care and customer service
