We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality operations for a manufacturing environment. This role will oversee compliance, inspection, audit readiness, and continuous improvement efforts to help ensure products consistently meet established standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a solid background in quality systems, and the ability to turn data and process findings into measurable operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Direct daily activities of the quality function, setting priorities and aligning departmental work with quality objectives and regulatory expectations.
• Develop quality goals as part of annual and long-range planning, track results against targets, and drive corrective action when performance gaps are identified.
• Oversee product and process inspection programs to verify conformance of finished goods, components, and materials to defined specifications.
• Coordinate quality approval activities for new products, incoming materials, modified components, and production equipment before release to operations.
• Lead the creation, revision, and implementation of quality procedures and control methods, and evaluate their effectiveness through ongoing review.
• Ensure technical standards for products, raw materials, laboratory methods, and related documentation are maintained and properly applied across the operation.
• Manage calibration, condition, and operational readiness of measurement and laboratory equipment, while planning equipment needs in accordance with legal requirements.
• Plan and lead internal audit programs, support external audits, maintain accurate audit records, and coordinate management review preparation and follow-up actions.
• Drive quality and process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, guiding implementation plans, and measuring the impact on product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
• Coach and develop quality team members through training, clear direction, performance feedback, and support for continued growth.• 5+ years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience leading internal and external audits and maintaining controlled quality documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical standards, specifications, bills of materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on familiarity with laboratory or measurement equipment oversight, including calibration and equipment planning.
• Demonstrated success managing teams, setting performance goals, and improving departmental results.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to address root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
