Join our dynamic team as a Quality Inspector, where you will work on a flexible schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional Friday overtime at the end of the month. You will perform diversified inspection work on aerospace and commercial parts, ensuring conformity to established standards using engineering drawings, process specifications, and customer documents.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diversified inspection work on aerospace and commercial parts.
  • Use engineering drawings, process specifications, and customer documents to verify purchased parts, assemblies, and final deliverable units.
  • Inspect raw material, mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical products for conformity to requirements.
  • Exercise judgment based on knowledge, performance specifications, and engineering drawings.
Essential Skills
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with first article to final inspection in a job shop environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding complex engineering drawings and GD&T readings.
  • Detail-oriented and precision-focused with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with true positioning, thread, and geometric tolerance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in a mass production or machine shop setting.
  • Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with optical & video comparator, surface plate and height gages, micrometers and calipers.
  • Familiarity with plug and ring thread gages, pin gages, and basic calibration methods.
  • Knowledge of AMS & MIL standards is an advantage.
  • CMM experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

Work in a team of 5 inspectors in a dynamic machine shop setting. The environment is industrial and can be loud, with a mid-strong smell due to the manufacturing of plastic and metal parts. The role requires both sitting and standing, and steel-toed shoes are mandatory.

This is a Permanent position based out of Orange, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $63000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Open to higher pay DOE Direct placement position Eligible after 60 days for Medical, dental, vision, 401K, 8 holidays per year, 3 sick days per year, 1 week of PTO 1st year and 2 weeks of PTO 2nd year, Rewards program Monthly and Quarterly with gift cards
