Stamp Press Assistant
Location: Walker, MI
Pay: $18.00/hr + $0.50/hr 2nd shift premium
Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:10 AM, Monday–Thursday
(Orientation: First day starts at 2:00 PM)

Step into a dynamic, industry-leading manufacturing environment on our 2nd shift. As a Press Assistant, your attention to detail and commitment to safety are crucial in supporting high-quality production. Be a key player who keeps operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain reliable and punctual attendance.
- Support press operators during breaks and lunches.
- Operate press equipment during inspections (with supervision).
- Load coils and ensure proper material selection.
- Assemble packing materials and assist with material handling.
- Help with machine changeovers and disposal of scrap materials.
- Create labels for work-in-progress and inventory.
- Assist with two-person press operations as needed.
- Complete basic tasks on various machines.
- Band and pack finished products for shipment.
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to read/write reports, safety docs, and work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting (noise, PPE, machinery).
