Production Associate
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated production associates to join our team and work in various departments at our plant. You will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring visual quality, assembling products, and preparing them for shipment. Your role will involve working towards achieving the production goals set by your supervisors.
Responsibilities- Operate machinery and maintain production goals.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality.
- Assemble and pack products for shipment.
- Cross-train in different departments.
- Physically lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift.
- Experience in general labor or construction labor.
- Ability to operate machinery.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as tape measures, allen wrenches, and screwdrivers.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, and bending.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One year of work experience.
- Mechanical aptitude is beneficial.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in an automotive glass manufacturing facility, operating primarily on the second shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We operate in a union environment (UAW) and run 8-hour shifts in the Fabrication department with flexibility to accommodate shift changes. The Float department runs 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3-3 schedule, providing a structured yet dynamic work environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.14 - $19.14/hr.
