Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with programming ability to join our team
- This position involves operating numerically controlled machine tools and performing complex series of progressive machining operations on a diverse line of work to close and exacting tolerance and finish specifications
- This role is crucial in ensuring parts conform to specifications and may involve running more than one unit simultaneously
- The position requires CNC 3 Axis programming of vertical mills, including setting up and operating the CNC Vertical Mill, understanding Fanuc and G&M codes, performing quality checks, and making machine offsets as necessary
- The ability to read and understand part designs, along with functional familiarity with CAD, is essential
Job Responsibilities
- Operate numerically controlled machine tools
- Perform complex machining operations to exacting tolerance and specifications
- Check parts for conformance to specifications
- Run multiple units simultaneously if necessary
- Program CNC 3 Axis vertical mills
- Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mills
- Understand and apply Fanuc and G&M codes
- Perform quality checks and make necessary machine offsets
Essential Skills
- 3 years of direct hands-on experience with CNC Mills
- 3 years of experience with tool changes, edits of G&M codes, offsets, and blueprint reading
- Proficiency in programming with WorkNC CAM or RTM/Lemoine CAM Software
This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
direct hire, benefits begin 1st of the month following hire date. Medical, dental, vision, 401k
